Access Building Products Ltd continually seek to reduce its impact on the natural environment by improving energy efficiency, preventing pollution, maximising the use of recycled material and reducing waste.

We aim to exceed all regulations, legislation and codes of practice for the environment with the help of the following:

The Product

• All insulation used is CFC & HCFC free, ODP zero and compliant to Eco Homes standards of a GWP rating of less than 5
• All our box packaging is manufactured from 100% recycled material and is 100% recyclable
• Fitting Instructions are printed on the packaging to reduce paper usage
• Pallets (when used) are 100% recycled
• Steel used in the manufacture of fire rated trap range is between 76% and 82% recycled material
• HIPs in PD trap range contain 10% recycled material
• Work in partnership with our suppliers to ensure effective supply chain management

Our Premises

• With the exception of drinking requirements, the limited use we have for water is supplied from roof harvested methods and stored in a suitable tank
• All office paper etc is recycled at our local refuse centre
• Lighting has been improved in the industrial units to eliminate use of electrical lighting during daylight hours
• A 10 mph speed limit is in place and we take extreme care to avoid harm to the wildlife and nature that surrounds us
