Roof Hatches

The SRHS is a premium, single-leaf steel roof access hatch, engineered for high security, structural integrity, and industry-leading thermal performance, with superior finish options including Marine Grade Stainless Steel.

Certified Performance & Insulation:

• Construction: Fabricated from robust 2mm Zintec Steel with hardened steel hinges, supporting a live load of 200Kg per m².
• Thermal Rating: Achieves an industry-leading U-value of 0.43 W/m²K, achieved with 50mm twin foil backed PIR insulation.
• Airtightness: Certified to Air Permeability Class 4 (tested at 100 Pa to BS EN 12207), featuring dual EDPM seals for enhanced weather protection (Quadruple seals available).
• Environmental Insulation: PIR insulation is CFC & HCFC free with an ODP and GWP rating of zero, ensuring zero negative impact on the building's thermal integrity.

Operation & Security:

• Safe Operation: Features twin gas assisted struts; one strut includes an auto-lock open feature when fully extended, preventing accidental lid closure without the need for an additional stay.
• Security: Equipped with an internal cab lock handle and an external push button for dual-side access. Padlock loops are fitted for optional internal or external locking (padlock not included).

Finish Options & High Corrosion Environments:

• Standard Finish: Supplied primed (raw finish as photographed), which requires painting with a suitable top coat.
• Powder Coated Options: Optional finishes include single-colour or dual-colour powder coating (based on standard RAL colours).
• High Corrosion Option: For environments within 5 miles of the coastline, swimming pools, etc., the hatch is available made entirely from Grade 316 (Marine) Stainless Steel (including the hinge).
