This high-specification External Electricity Meter Box Access Panel is engineered for demanding external use, combining high durability with certified fire-retardant and weather-resistant features.

External Durability & Weatherproofing:

• Enhanced Durability: Structural integrity is maximized by grinding all welds flat and smoothing all corners of the frame and door, ensuring completely flat surfaces resistant to weathering.
• Water & Vapour Resistance: The access door incorporates Foil-backed Mineral Wool insulation, providing exceptional resistance to water ingress and water vapour transmission.
• Long-Term Performance: These comprehensive protective measures guarantee the long-term, sustained performance of the panel, even when exposed to extreme external conditions.

Compliance & Material Specification:

• Fire Retardancy: Features fire-retardant materials suitable for use in External Wall Insulation EWI systems.
• Application: Designed for flush installation within external wall substrates, providing secure access to electricity meters.

CRITICAL NOTE: Coastal Installation

• Warranty Limitation: No warranty applies if this panel is fitted within 10km (as the crow flies) of a coastline.
• Coastal Recommendation: For coastal areas exposed to high salt content, we recommend specifying a Grade 316 Stainless Steel solution. Please contact our technical team for bespoke details.
