EAP-INS-AT Exterior Access Panel

INSULATED | AIR TESTED

  • Air Tested in a UKAS accredited test house
  • Smoke tested to BS EN 1634-3:2004
  • 36dB reduction
  • Insulated with foil backed PIR insulation (35-60mm depending on panel size)
  • Suitable for walls or ceilings
  • Fabricated from 0.9mm Zintec steel, with a stainless steel grade 316 hinge rod.
  • Airtight secure key radial tumbler lock.
  • Powder-coated in white RAL9010 with satin finish.


Specifications

This high quality access panel is engineered to withstand external use.

The durability of the panel is enhanced by grinding all welds flat and smoothing of all corners of the trim and pan to ensure completely flat surfaces. We then fit seals to the back of the frame and the door surround to prevent water ingress.

The door includes Foil backed PIR insulation that provides exceptional resistance to water and water vapor. All of these protective measures guarantee the long-term performance of the panel even in the most extreme conditions.

Fabricated from 0.9mm Zintec steel, with a galvanised hinge rod. Each panel door and frame is primed with a coat of electrostatic rust inhibitive powder then a further white powder coat top finish. (white RAL9010 with satin finish).

Installation Guide

The inner edge of the frame has pre-drilled fixing holes for easy fitting. Once fitted the fixings are concealed.

Fitting instructions are supplied.

Note we recommend allowing approximately 5mm over the panel size when creating your structural opening e.g. fit a 450x450mm size panel into a structural opening of 455x455mm
