Fire Rated Loft Hatches

The SP Fire Rated Push Up Loft Hatch is a high-compliance, bespoke solution, delivering certified 1-Hour Fire integrity, Part L thermal performance, and exceptional airtightness.

Certified Fire, Thermal & Air Compliance:

• Fire Rating: Features a UKAS accredited 1-hour fire test, providing essential one-way fire integrity for the ceiling compartment.
• Thermal Compliance: Achieves a U Value of 0.35 W/m²K, ensuring full compliance with Part L of the Building Regulations.
• Airtightness: UKAS accredited air infiltration compliant without the addition of sealant to the external frame, guaranteeing superior performance out of the box.
• Safety & Building Standards: Fully compliant with NHBC requirements for attic doors, including the provision of a 520mm clear opening in any direction.

Environmental & Design Specification:

• Insulation: The insulation utilized is CFC & HCFC free and has an ODP (Ozone Depletion Potential) rating of zero, meeting Eco Homes standards with a GWP (Global Warming Potential) rating of zero.
• Packaging: The SP1 loft access trap box packaging is constructed from 100% recycled & recyclable material.

CRITICAL DESIGN NOTE

• Access Type: The SP panel is not hinged (Push-Up design) and cannot be used with any of our loft ladders.
• Lining Note: All Openings Need To Be Lined With 9.5mm plasterboard.
